Abercrombie and Fitch closes at Pecanland Mal

abercrombie fitch milano, an upscale, trendy casual clothing retailer, closed its Pecanland Mall store following Christmas Eve, the first casualty in an annual post-holiday retail shake-up.
Pecanland Mall manager Randy Barnett said the chain didn't renew its lease.

"This is the time of year when companies make adjustments," Barnett said. "It's my understanding that the company has selective store closings planned for both this year and next."

Abercrombie and Fitch will keep its children's store open at Pecanland Mall, Barnett said.

Barnett said any other questions about the retailer's decision would have to be answered by the company.

Abercrombie and Fitch didn't return a call from The News-Star Tuesday.

The company opened its Pecanland Mall store in 2000.
